Best Thai Food in KL @ Bluezone Pandan Perdana

This week, we decided to check out the Blue Zone Cafe @ Pandan Perdana. This place is famous for their Thai food and it was recommended by my kl friends who discovered it from a magazine.

The lake view from our seat.

We've decided to try out as many dish as possible so we actually ordered 7 dishes for the four of us. It was too much but the calories was worth it as the food was good. I totally don't mind getting fat for Thai Food's sake!

Kangkung Belacan

The kangkung belacan here taste good but kinda costly in my opinion since our PM claimed that it's cheap. RM11

Thai-style tofu.

The Thai-style tofu on the other hand was just so-so. The seafood tofu was topped with raw onions, chili, cucumbers and coriander leaves mixed together with some Thai sweet sour sauce. Nothing special. RM9

Mantis Prawn with Salted Egg (Har gou)

This dish is a MUST TRY. The 'har gou' is coated with salted egg and fried together with curry leaves. THIS IS SUPER DUPER NICE. All of us thought that this is one of the best dish here. The 'har gou' is crispy and slightly sweet with the strong taste of salted egg and curry leaves. You wouldn't even realize that it is actually prawn until you were told. So for those who are allergic to prawns, do be careful  not to overeat this. RM18

Kam Heong See Ham (Cockles)

For the cockles lover out there, here's another version of cockles that you might want to try. The cockles here are really fresh and cooked just right with a large amount of dried shrimps to enrich the taste of the kam heong. Another bonus for this dish is that the upper shell of the cockles are actually removed and cleaned so that you can enjoy your beloved cockles HASSLE-FREE. Worth a try! RM10

Stir-fry Pork Maw & Intestines with Dried Shrimps

Ahh yess. I am definitely a big fan of this Stir-fry Pork Maw & Intestines (Shang Cheong). The intestines and pork maw is cleaned and stir-fried with a generous amount of shrimps and chili giving the dish a chewy and rich texture. A must try if you are a shang cheong lover like me. RM15

                                                                   Thai BBQ Pork

Pork lovers out there! Who doesn't love crispy juicy roasted pork!?  I LOVE roasted pork to the core of my heart. That was why we ordered this dish. However, it would be perfect if the skin was crispy enough. Nonetheless I still enjoyed! RM20

                                                                    Seafood Tom Yam

Oooohlala.. the Tom Yum here was superb! Those who prefer sour Tom Yum should definitely try this out! It's really fragrant and the taste was heavenly!  All sorts of seafood you can find inside, which includes mussels, prawns, squids, etc. RM20

The place is always packed with people during dinner. Thus it's advisable to go there early to avoid the crowd. Our dinner came up to RM110 including drinks. Overall, the food here is good with a nice ambience.
